Founded in 1979, David Gray Solicitors emerged from the Law Centre movement with a mission to make legal services more accessible in the North East. Now with nearly 90 employees, the firm delivers quality legal services across private, corporate and legal aid sectors.
While David Gray's founding purpose remained strong among long-serving staff, the firm's leadership recognised the need to articulate their distinctive culture in a way that would resonate with all employees and attract talent in a competitive landscape.

Through a comprehensive cultural assessment, including focus groups and strategic sessions with partners, Bright Space helped the firm uncover and articulate their enduring purpose: "Access for All." This powerful statement bridges their heritage with their modern mission, speaking to both client service delivery and employee development.
